Thank you for the useful software (Uqlab). The laptop I installed uqlab got defective a few days ago and I am in the process of fixing it but this might take sometime. To avoid delays in my research, is it possible to install the license issued to me on a different laptop which has MATLAB - will this work / acceptable?

Indeed you can use your licence with two different computers. You can simply follow again the installation process with your second computer.
